Data deletion

You can delete your data yourself in Postmaxx, at any time, or ask us to do it.

Delete a post

Open the post from Posts or the calendar and choose Delete post. It is removed from Postmaxx at once. Posts that already went out stay on the platforms unless you tick Also delete it on …; a few platforms don’t allow deleting through their API, and Postmaxx then tells you where to delete it yourself.

Delete media

In Media, select the files and choose Delete. If scheduled posts use a file, Postmaxx lists them and asks first. Deleted files are removed from storage after one day.

Remove a connected account

In Accounts, open the account’s menu and choose Remove. Its sign-in tokens are deleted at once and scheduled posts no longer go to it; a post that went only to that account becomes a draft. You can also remove Postmaxx in the platform’s own settings, which stops its access there too.

Delete a workspace

The owner can delete a workspace at the foot of Settings by typing its name. Right away, its connected accounts’ tokens are deleted, its scheduled posts stop and its API keys stop working. Its plan is cancelled within a minute, with no refund for the current period. Its posts, media and every other record are deleted within 24 hours.

Delete your account

In Settings, under Profile, choose Delete my account. If you own a workspace that has other members, make one of them the owner first. Deleting your account deletes the workspaces only you belong to, as above, and removes you from the others.

What stays, and for how long

• Logs and records of the emails we sent are deleted after a limited time.
• A note that you used the free trial stays, so the trial remains once per person.
• Deleted data can remain in database backups for up to 30 days before it is gone for good.
• Stripe keeps the invoices and payment records that tax law requires.

Ask us to delete your data

Email postmaxx@support.eniva.io from the address you use for Postmaxx, with “Delete my data” in the subject. We confirm within 2 business days and finish within 30 days.

Facebook, Instagram and Threads

If you connected an account through Facebook, Instagram or Threads, you can remove Postmaxx in that app’s settings, under Apps and websites, to end its access. To delete what Postmaxx holds about that account, remove it in Postmaxx as above or email us.
